Eventually we found the ideal producer who met all our criteria. This producer in Astrakhan Oblast had been for many years a supplier of fish and seafood delicacies on both the Russian domestic and international market. Even during the Soviet era, caviar and smoked balyk (sturgeon) production experts perfected the processing
techniques and achieved the exceptional taste of these delicacies. The items produced under the brand ʺWILD RUSSIAʺ can be considered the goldstandard of the highest quality.

The sturgeon, from which black caviar is retrieved, are found at the mouth of the Caspian Sea. Thanks to the fresh running current and natural nutrition from which they benefit, the superlative taste of the
black caviar they give is assured. The method by which the caviar is harvested is traditional, and conforms to Russian and European consumer standards for the fishing of sturgeon and sterlet. The caviar thus obtained is famed all over the world for its unique and delicious flavour.
